BROW WAX &/OR TINT: The Hybrid Dye stain can feel darker on the first day, however, please note this is an important step of the process as the stain continues to oxidize on the skin and settle into its finished shade. The stain will start to fade gradually as soon as the brows are wet.
Avoid using makeup and facial cleansers around the brow area for the following 24 hours. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, the use of sun beds, saunas, steam rooms, and swimming pools for 24 hours. Avoid exfoliating and using anti-aging products around the brow area for at least two to three days prior to and post-treatment. Avoid using any sunless-tanning products on the face for around two to three days on either side of the treatment. Avoid the temptation to over-touch the brow area after treatment. Touching with fingers can lead to oils entering open pores and clogging them.
BROW LAMINATION: First 24 hours: NO hot water, Steam, shampoos, makeup, self tanning products or skincare products on top or close to the Brow Lamination area. First 48 hours: Do NOT use makeup remover or oils on top or close to the Brow Lamination area. Avoid swimming/sauna/working outside for 48 hours post treatment. Excess moisture can cause a slight curl or frizz to the brow hair. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat and do not apply Retin-A, AHA or exfoliate around the brow area for 72 hours. Comb/brush your brow hairs into place as needed. If redness or irritation worsens over the course of 24hours please contact your doctor about potential reaction to the product, then contact The Glow House to make us aware. Do not have any type of permanent makeup or semi-permanent makeup done while your hair is still lifted, as your artist must be able to see the natural direction of the hair.

FOR THE FIRST WEEK POST TREATMENT YOU SHOULD NOT: Pick, peel, scrape or scratch your skin – it may cause scarring and reveal skin that is not yet ready to come to the surface, Exfoliate or wax until your skin has normalized, Spend a prolonged time in the sun and when in the sun use Protect SPF 30.
DAYS 1-2: You may experience tightness, dryness, flaking and slight skin discoloration (discoloration due to high amounts of Beta Carotene), which are all normal. Cleanse your skin with a very mild cleanser including Cleanse or Purify. The treatment is still successful if you do not experience any of these symptoms. Please stay out of direct sun exposure and continue use of Protect SPF 30. Please do NOT use any products with Retinaldehyde or exfoliants.
DAY 3: The skin can gradually become drier and tighter. This is normal and sloughing of the skin may begin. Hydrate with a moisturizer including Hydrate, Quench, Immerse, Nourish or Enrich and continue use of Protect SPF 30. Remedy may also be used as a healing mask. Please do NOT use any products with Retinaldehyde or exfoliants.
DAYS 4-7: The skin may slough, which is normal and may last up to 7 days. Continue use of gentle products (Lift Away, Cleanse, Remedy, Hydrate, Quench, Immerse, Nourish or Enrich and Protect SPF 30). Skin has finished exfoliating once sloughing has subsided and skin has normalized

- Stop using Retin-A 5 days post treatment
- No chemical peels 14 days pre/post dermaplaning
- Laser treatment &/or IPL – Wait 14 days after dermaplaning before proceeding with a laser treatment
- Protect your skin from sunburn/sun damage! Your skin is more vulnerable to UV rays after exfoliation. SPF is essential to protect your skin – Avoid excessive sun exposure as much as possible. If you must be in the sun, apply and reapply SPF 30+ every 2 hours, wear a hat and sunglasses and seek shade.
- Cleanse: Use a gentle cleanser and warm, not hot, water. Splash water on face. Do not use abrasive wash cloths or Clarisonic.
- Delay exposure to excessive heat, heavy workouts, steam rooms and saunas for 24-48 hours post treatment.
- Do not use cleansers, serums or spot treatments containing salicylic acid or Benzoyl Peroxide (BPO) for 5 days following treatment.
- Moisturizer: choose a hydrating moisturizer and apply twice daily. It is common for skin to feel tight to the touch. This is good and will only last a short time.
- Wait 7 days before facial waxing.
- Makeup: it can irritate skin after dermaplaning. Bacteria, alcohols, colorants, fragrance are all irritants and can cause contact dermatitis. Be sure to clean your makeup brushes to minimize risks!
- FOR DARKER SKIN TONES: Use a 1% hydrocortisone cream for 5 days following treatment to calm inflammation and reduce the risk of excess pigment production and use a brightening serum to reduce the risk of excess pigment production.

- Wait at least 6 hours to put any water on the skin and avoid sweat, heat and friction
- No actives should be applied in the evening routine. Only cleanse, tone and moisturize.
- Resume full routine the next day including active products (in the absense of any irritation/sensitivity after the treatment)
- Keep skin hydrated, moisturized and protected with SPF
- Allow at least 2 weeks after peel between laser hair removal or microdermabrasion
- Allow at least 1 week after peel for waxing

- Do not touch treated areas for at least 12 hours if possible
- Avoid wearing makeup for at least 24 hours & use clean brushes only
- Do not use retinol or other harsh/abrasive treatments for 1 week
- Avoid working out and excessive sweating for 3 days
- Avoid direct sunlight and always wear spf post treatment
- Use a gentle hydrating moisturizer to keep skin hydrated
- Avoid waxing, lasers, fillers, etc for at least 1 week
Custom Facials

- Wash with gentle cleanser and fingertips
- Pat dry & no TERRY CLOTH or wash cloths
- Use Moisturizing spf of 30 or more every day (and forever!)
- Do not get areas wet: ie; wash your face at your vanity and shower with your back to water if you had treatment on your face. Keep hands out of water if your hands were treated. (crusts will become soggy and slough to quickly....crusts are natures band-aids and we want them to stay on as long as possible!)
- Crusts will slough in 5-7-10-14 days depending on individual (hands will be on the longer side)
- Do no use any harsh or anti-aging products while crusted
- Absolutely no picking or scratching!
- No procedures in the areas of treatment for 30 days
- After crusts have sloughed and skin is smooth, you may resume your regular skin care routine
- Areas may continue to be pink until completely healed
Skin Classic

- Mild tingling is normal post application. If you experience excessive discomfort, the peel may be rinsed off with cool water.
- After removing the peel solution, apply a mineral spf 30 and use daily/reapply
- The skin may be slightly dry, tight or sensitive for up to 2 days
- Mild peeling may occur within 2-4 days
- Avoid direct sunlight
- If you must be outside, wear a hat, sunglasses and spf every 2 hours

What to Expect During and Immediately After Treatment: Your skin may experience temporary irritation, tightness, or redness. These are all normal reactions that typically resolve within 72 hours depending on skin sensitivity. You may experience tingling and stinging during the treatment area. These sensations generally subside within three hours of treatment. Client experiences may vary. Some people may experience a delayed onset of the previously mentioned symptoms. Contact us immediately if any unusual side effects occur or if symptoms worsen over time.
Next Steps: You will likely see results immediately after treatment and your skin will feel smooth and hydrated for one to four weeks. For improved, longer lasting results, consider take-home products and monthly Hydrafacial treatments. The treatment area is more susceptible to sunburn, sun damage and hyperpigmentation. Avoid direct sun exposure and use a minimum of SPF 40 sunscreen. Aggressive exfoliation, waxing and products containing acids should be avoided in the treatment area for a minimum of two weeks pre- and post-treatment. Avoid the use of Retin-A type products pre- and post-treatment.

The Prodigy Peel System is a superficial peel system designed to target mild acne, visible signs of aging, and brighten pigmentation irregularities and uneven skin tone to reveal a revitalized and radiant complexion.
What to expect:
- moderate flaking to mild peeling: 3-5 days
- redness 3-24 hours post treatment
- heat & light sensitivity - up to 1 week
